Getting paid online just got easier. With your MYOB Atlas website, you can receive payments from your customers for the invoices you give them offline. Just click Get paid at the top of your website to find out more about the features we've provided to make getting paid online easy. You'll also find a checklist much like the one below of what you need to do to start getting paid online.

title1. Enter your payment settings

Before you can start receiving payments online, you need to enter your payment settings. This involves linking your PayPal account and choosing how you want to be notified when a customer pays one of your invoices online. You enter your payment settings on the Sales and payments page, where you'll first need to choose to receive payments online by selecting the Allow customers to pay invoices on my website option.

If you want to include a link to your Pay online page in your website's public menu, select the Show a link to your Pay online page in the public menu option in the Get paid link title section, and enter a link title to appear in the menu.

title2. Publish your policies

As a website owner, it's important to let your visitors know what your terms and conditions are, giving them peace of mind that they can pay their invoices on your website safely. That's why it's a good idea to publish your privacy policy on your website.

title3. Tell your customers

When you invoice your customers for products or services you provide offline, tell them the web address for your Pay online page, or include it on your invoices for easy reference. Then, customers can simply visit this page, enter their invoice details as well as some contact and payment details and pay the invoice.

You can see the web address for your Pay online page on the Sales and payment settings page.

title4. View and manage your payments

Once you begin receiving payments through your website, you'll need to be able to view and manage your payment transactions so you know which invoices have been paid. This helps you keep your accounts up to date. The Transactions and Transaction details pages provide everything you need to view and manage your payments, including the ability to view your transaction list, as well as customer and invoice details.

PayPal does not permit trust entities to open a PayPal account of any kind. Unfortunately this means that you cannot create a PayPal account with the ABN that you used to create your MYOB Atlas website. See PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy for more details and read their User Agreement for full details regarding eligibility when opening a PayPal account.
