1. Change the access level

1. in the Privilege field:
   
   • to make a user an administrator,

1. • select Administrator.
   • to make an administrator a user,

1. • select Standard user.
2. Click Save to save your changes.

To replace a sole administrator

If your business

has only one administrator,

you'll need to create a replacement

1. First, create a new user (

1. see Creating users) or choose an existing user and make them an administrator (

1. see To change a user’s access level).
2. Log in to MYOB Essentials as

1. this new administrator user.

1. Click your business name and choose Users.

1. in your MYOB Essentials business.

1. Click the Edit button next to the old administrator

1. 's user details.
2. If you want to:
   • delete the old administrator, see To delete a user.
   • keep the old administrator but remove their privileges, click the Privilege dropdown and choose Standard user. The user's administrator privileges will be removed and they will become a standard user.
3. Click Save to save your changes.

To delete a user

1. In MYOB Essentials, click

1. your business name and choose Users.

2. The Users page appears, with a list of all the users for your MYOB Essentials business.

1. Click Image Added to the right of the user you want to delete

1. . The Image Added won't appear if you're not signed in to MYOB Essentials as an administrator user, and if you're trying to delete your own user account.
   A confirmation message appears.

1. Click Yes

1.  to delete the user.

Deleted a user accidentally? Set them back up as a new user.
