Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only

Use Employee Budget Export to export existing employee budget data to Excel.

You can use this Use it to check the budget data that you've created or use the data from one employee as a template for others. For example, add budget data for 2 months for an employee and export the data. When you open the file in Excel, use the same logic to set up budget data for other employees.

You can export a specific employee, or export an employee category, such as accountants.

titleTo export by an employee
  1. From the main menu, go to MaintenanceEmployee > Employee Budget Export. The Employee Budget Export window opens.

  2. In the File Name field, click the ellipsis and locate the file name you want to export the data to from the Save As window.

    The exported file saves as a comma delimited file (*.csv) by default.

  3. From the Accounting Year drop-down, select the Accounting Year.

  4. Select the Employees checkbox.

  5. Enter the Employee name or click the ellipsis on the Employee field to locate the employee you would like to export data for from the Find Employees window.

  6. Click Export. The Employee Budget Export message displays.

  7. Click Yes to run the export. The data is exported and the Employee Budget Export window displays indicating the Export completed successfully.

  8. Click OK and then Cancel to close the Employee Budget Export window.
