An OSB file can be created manually or automatically depending on the set up of the backup mechanism within BankLink Books.
To create a backup file automatically :
-
1. Click the File option from the top left hand corner and choose Preferences
-
2. From the Preferences window click on the Backups tab.
-
3. On the Backups tab - the default setting is do nothing. From here you can choose to either
Prompt me for a Backup Directory
 Backup Automatically
4. Once an option is chosen set the Backup client file to field to where you want to save the client file to.
5. Click the Browse button to the right of the Backup client file to field to select a different directory if required.
When the client file is saved or closed, BankLink Books will either prompt the user to save a backup or if set to automatic it will automatically save an backup file to the directory.
To create a backup file manually :
-
1. Open the client file and select the File option from the top left hand corner.
