This section explains the leave and holiday entitlements your employees have, and how you must fulfil your responsibilities as an employer.

 

Use the Leave Calendar to record which days your employees take leave on.

The Holidays Act 2003 contains the legislation regarding holiday and leave entitlements.

Employees are entitled to holidays on each public holiday, and on their relevant provincial anniversary day. Public holidays and anniversary days explains the entitlements in detail, and provides instructions for processing holidays with Ace Payroll.

Employees are also entitled to different types of leave, including parental leave, bereavement leave, annual leave, and sick leave.
