If your Trial Balance report is showing an out of balance, complete the following:

  1. Go to the File menu and choose Verify Data File then choose Reindex.
  2. Go to the File menu and choose Verify Data File then choose Recalculate.
  3. Go to the File menu and choose Verify Data File then choose Rebuild.
  4. Run the Trial Balance again.


Still out of balance?

If you've verified your data file as described above but the out of balance remains, you'll need to send a backup of your Cashbook file to MYOB Technical Support for repair.

To create the backup, go to the File menu and choose Backup, then specify where to save the backup file.

Email the backup file to data@myob.co.nz explaining the issue.

It'll take a maximum of four working days for your file to be repaired and returned to you. While it's being repaired, you won't be able to work in your file. This is because when it's returned, your repaired file will become your current working file.
