The Capital Gains worksheet is where details regarding the acquisition and disposal of assets subject to Capital Gains Tax are entered and calculated.

How to add a capital gains worksheet
  1. Open the tax return. See Opening an existing return.
  2. Find Capital Gains Worksheet under Worksheets on the Tasks bar. The Select Capital Gains window opens.
  3. Click New to add a capital gains item.

The Add/Edit Capital Gains Items window opens. All information regarding the asset can be entered from this window either directly into the fields in this window or by clicking buttons to access additional options.
