Using status levels you can track the progress on completing and lodging returns. You can update the status level of a single return or a batch of returns.

To update the status level of a single return
  1. Click AO-GS-Button-Tax.png on the MYOB AO toolbar. The Tax — Client Search page opens.
  2. Highlight the return you want to update.

    There is no need to open the return.

  3. Click Update Status under Lodgment on the Tasks bar. The Lodgment Update window opens.

    Alternatively, with the return open, select Lodgment > Update > I P T C F forms then select Single Return and click OK.

    On the Lodgment Update window today’s date is shown. If required enter a different date.

  4. From Status drop-down select the status you want to apply to the return.

  5. Click OK.

To update the status level of a batch of returns
  1. Open an existing return. See Opening an existing return.
  2. Select LodgmentUpdate > I P T C F forms. The Lodgment Update window opens.
  3. Select Batch under Selection.
  4. Click OK. The Batch Lodgment Status Selection window opens. The Date text field shows today’s date. If required enter a different date.
  5. From the Status drop-down select the status that will be applied.
  6. Click OK. The Select Returns for Update window opens.
  7. Highlight and click Select to add returns to the batch. A AO-GS-Icon-GreenTick.png appears beside each return included. These will be updated to the same status and date.
  8. Click OK.
