Creating standalone forms (for example, FBT, CU, XX)

Australia only

In MYOB AO forms such as Fringe Benefits Tax forms, Client Update and Interposed Entity Election are created from within a client’s return. You must create the client’s return then open it for editing and then the standalone form is created.

If the tax return was for a prior year, prepared and lodged in MYOB AO Classic, you must also prepare the standalone form in MYOB AO Classic.

To create these return forms MYOB AO

  1. Open and login to MYOB AO.

  2. See Logging into MYOB AO.
  3. Create a new return or access an existing return for the client.

  4. See Creating a return or Opening an existing return.
  5. Find the form you want to add under ATO Forms on the Tasks bar.

  6. If an AO-GS-Icon-Expand.png appears next to the form name, click AO-GS-Icon-Expand.png to expand the heading and click Add New to add the form. Otherwise, click the form name to add the form.
