Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only

Once a timesheet, expense or disbursement is submitted, it must be authorised and posted. This process moves the client WIP into debtors, enabling the practice to track its financial exposure. You can only approve and post a timesheet, expense or disbursement if you have access permission to do so.

You can authorise and post more than one timesheet, expense or disbursement from your homepage or the Practice KPI.

In order to authorise and post a timesheet, expense or disbursement sheet, it must have Submitted status.

To authorise and post a timesheet, expense or disbursement sheet
  1. Open the timesheet, expense or disbursement sheet. See Opening existing timesheets or Opening disbursements for an employee or Opening a practice disbursement.

  2. Click Approve . The Authorisation Status changes to Authorised.

  3. Click Post . The Authorisation Status changes to Posted.
