MYOB takes the security of your data very seriously and for this reason we regularly update our solutions to use the latest security protocols.

On 15 October, we'll update our solutions that use TLS 1.0 (Transport Level Security) to now use TLS 1.1 or 1.2.

 

What does this mean for you? 

If you're using MYOB RetailManager v12.5 with AccountRight, you'll need to update MYOB RetailManager.

If you don't, you'll be unable to post GL journals from MYOB RetailManager to MYOB AccountRight.

This update only applies to an existing RetailManager 12.5 installation for both the Australia and New Zealand versions

 

 

To install the update
  1. Right-click the following link and choose to save the file to your Desktop. (Link to update)
  2. Double click the filename.MSI on your desktop.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Choose the location of your Retail Manager installation. The default folder c:/RETAILM will automatically be shown.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
