Authorising MYOB establishes a link between MYOB Essentials and Inland Revenue for payday filing. It's a one-off task that must be done by each person who submits employment information.

If you're not the owner of the business's myIR account, make sure the owner has delegated access to you to submit payday filing information via myIR.

To authorise MYOB
  1. Go to Payroll > Payday filing.
  2. Click Inland Revenue settings.

  3. Click Authorise MYOB. The myIR login page opens.
  4. Enter your myIR user ID and password. Make sure you enter the myIR details for your business, not your personal account details.
  5. On the Consent Management page, click Authorise. myIR closes.
  6. Click Finish.
