Welcome

We're always looking for ways to improve how you find solutions, so we've merged our online help with the knowledge base to bring you the right answers, faster.

Now, when searching the knowledge base, you'll get results from both the online product help and the knowledge base.

Whether you're fixing errors or working with new features you'll find the answer in a single location.

Let's take a look at how to use the Knowledge Base so you can quickly start finding the right answers.


 

Search for a solution

  1. Sign in to my.myob.
  2. Click Search the knowledge base.
  3. In the Select your product drop-down list, either leave All Products or select a product suite.
  4. Enter a search term in the search field and click the magnifying glass .
  5. If you want to filter the results, select a product in the Filter by section in the REFINE panel.
  6. Click a search result to open the knowledge base article.

    Use the happy or sad face at the bottom of the knowledge base or online help article to let us know if you found the article helpful. We'll adjust the help based on your feedback!


 

Filter your results

If you're seeing too many results, try using the filters located to the left of your search results. The Filter by - Product Capability filter shows results based on individual product. The Search in filter lets you view results based on the type of article or topic.

  • If you're looking for product information or how to do something, you'll likely find the answer in the Online Help.
  • If you're looking for a solution to an error, problem or technical advice, try searching the Knowledge base. Make sure you've logged into my.MYOB to see these results.
To filter by product
  1. Enter a search term in the search field and click the magnifying glass .
  2. Click on a product listed under Product capability to view all results relating to your selection.

    To remove a filter, click Reset on the REFINE panel.

To filter by type
  1. Enter a search term in the search field and click the magnifying glass .
  2. Select either:
    • Knowledge Base – to search for knowledge base articles only.
    • Help – to search for online help articles.

 

Not signed in?

To search and view knowledge base articles, you need to sign into my.MYOB. You can do this by clicking Sign in on the top-right of the screen.

Knowledge base articles often require technical expertise, so it's important that you're viewing the right article for your product and installation environment. When you sign in to view the knowledge base, we only provide results relating to your practice setup.

If you haven't signed into my.MYOB, you can still search the online help, however your results are limited to product information and how-to topics.

So if your query relates to an error, problem or something technical, sign into my.MYOB to maximise your search.
