If you are a registered M-Powered Services customer, the software stores valuable information in the M-Powered Services Centre data file (.box). The M-Powered Services Centre data file is used in conjunction with your company file and these two files must always be kept together. In the event that the M-Powered Services Centre data file is deleted, or separated from the company file in any way, the software will identify this and an error message will be displayed when you attempt to open the company file. This support note explains what this error message is and the options that are available to resolve it.

For more information on the M-Powered Services Centre "box" file, see M-Powered Service Centre Box File (Australia only)

Why is this error message displayed?

As a subscriber to an M-Powered Service such as superannuation, when you open the company file, The software detects if the M-Powered Service data file (.box) is present. The M-Powered Services Centre data file must have the same name and be stored in the same location as the company file.
