Australia only Until an alternative selection is made the Tax returns due for lodgment lists returns due within 30 days for the employee who is currently logged on. MYOB AO uses due date from the Return Properties PAYG/Lodge tab to determine the returns that are due for lodgment. From the right-click menu choose to filter the returns displayed: Partner, Manager or Employee — view the returns assigned to the employee currently logged into MYOB AO. Practice — select Practice to view all the returns which have been created for the practice regardless of employee assignment. Range — You can select to view returns that are Overdue, Due in 30 days, Due in 60 Days, Due in 90 Days, Not Lodged, Lodged Late, Lodged On-time, Not Required, Lodged or All (no range filtering is set). The range values for Lodged Late, Lodged On-time and Not Required have been introduced to assist with managing the 85% On-time lodgment requirement. Current Year — select to view those returns for the current year. Prior Year — select to view those returns for the prior year.
Filtering examples:To View all the returns assigned to you as an employee for the current year — Right-click the table and select Employee, Range > All and Current Year on the popup menu. View all the returns assigned to you as a partner that are due in 30 days — Right-click the table and select Partner, Range > Due in 30 Days and Current Year on the popup menu. View all the returns for the practice for the current year — Right-click the table and select Practice, Range > All and Current Year on the popup menu.
Tax returns due for lodgment tableThe Tax Returns Due for Lodgment table lists all those returns which match the filtering options that have been applied to the page. The columns on the Tax Returns Due for Lodgment table are chosen from the Field chooser. They may include: Field | Description |

The Return required setting is on the Return Properties PAYG/Lodge tab. It may be set by:lodging a Client Update form; using the Update return not required task on this page; or, updating your returns in bulk, see Bulk return edit.
On the Tasks bar the options include: Update Status — This task allows you to change the status of the Main Return Types. Also available on the Tax Client - Search Page. Update return not required — This task opens the Return Properties PAYG/Lodge tab so that you can set the Return Required field to Required, Not this year or No future return.
