Editing columns in the code entry screen

There are two coding screen modes:

Restricted to Account - this mode allows you to edit the Account column only.
All Editable Columns - this mode allows you to edit these columns:
- Account
- Effective Date
- GST Amount
- GST Class ID
- Job, Narration
- Payee
- Quantity
- Reference
- Tax Inv

You need to be in All Editable Columns mode to edit all columns in the coding entry screen.

Open the coding entry screen for the period you want to code.
In the bottom left corner, the current mode is displayed.
To switch modes, click the words Restricted to Account or All Editable Columns (as applicable) to switch to the other mode.

Still can't edit the columns?

Check that the columns have been configured to allow editing.

1. Right click the column heading and choose Configure Columns.

2 . Ensure the column you want to edit has both an E for edit and a V for visible.
