  • MYOB Atlas has closed

The MYOB Atlas website hosting and domain management product was closed on 30 September 2022. You are no longer billed for this product and credits for all annualised payments have been processed (pro rata) as of 1 October 2022.

If you have not done so already, we strongly encourage you to transition off MYOB Atlas as soon as possible and transfer your domain registration to another provider.

If you have questions and concerns about what to do next, check the FAQs below or email us at atlas@myob.com.

Why did MYOB decommission MYOB Atlas?

The market for simple website hosting has changed markedly since MYOB helped small businesses build an online presence 10 years ago. However, the needs of our customers for a web presence and building their businesses online are more advanced and they now need specialised providers that can provide eCommerce, social media and other integrations. As such, we made the decision to retire MYOB Atlas and concentrate on our core offering.

Am I being charged for this service?

You are no longer being charged for MYOB Atlas.

If you were on an annual subscription, we have organised a refund of any unused months charges. If you have other MYOB products, you will continue to be charged as normal.

How do I migrate or move my website hosting from MYOB Atlas to another provider?

MYOB Atlas websites are not developed to be migrated; you will need to rebuild the website with a new webhosting provider of your choice.

There are several options on the market that offer simple templated websites who you can rebuild your website with. Please ensure you do your research to find a reputable provider.

How do I move my domain registration from MYOB Atlas to another provider?

Your domain names are not locked with us.

To move your domain registration to another provider, see these instructions.

I’ve missed the emails notifying me of this change, I no longer have access to the management site. My website no longer appears on the internet. What do I do?

MYOB Atlas has been fully decommissioned, and we are unable to retrieve your website data. You will need to build a new website with another provider.

If your domain registration has a future expiry date, that will remain active until the expiry date – however we strongly recommend you transfer your domain name registration to another provider before this time and as soon as possible.

I don’t have time to do the research, is there a provider MYOB suggests?

There are many reputable providers on the market today. But we have done some of the work for you and have partnered with GoDaddy, the world’s number one web hosting company.

GoDaddy are ready to assist MYOB customers with their transition of services.

Complete your details here and the GoDaddy team will contact you and speak to you about your options.

Do I have to transfer to GoDaddy?

No, the choice is yours.

You can transfer to any other webhosting and domain name provider. We want to make your life easier by giving you an option with a reputable provider in case you don't want to spend time researching the various options yourself.

You don't have to move to GoDaddy, but if you want to keep your website and email active, you must set them up with another provider as soon as possible.
