The Login field on the Practice my.MYOB Settings window requires a valid MYOB Login that has both administrator and partner administrator access rights to the client code specified in the MYOB client code field.

titleTo identify an administrator and practice administrator MYOB Login
  1. Log into https://my.myob.com.au (Australia) or https://my.myob.co.nz (New Zealand). Use an MYOB Login that has administrator rights to the client code specified in the MYOB client code field.

    If you do not know an MYOB Login that has administrator rights, you will need to contact MYOB Supportus for assistancesupport.

  2. If necessary, select the appropriate MYOB client code from the drop-down at the top of the page.

  3. Select My Account > Maintain Users. The View/Maintain Users page opens.

  4. Locate a user that has:

    • Administrator in the User Type column, and

    • Yes in the Partner Administrator column.

    This user has both administrator and partner administrator access rights to a particular MYOB client code.

    Use a MYOB login that has administrator rights to the client code specified in the MYOB client code field.

  2. If necessary, select the appropriate MYOB client code from the drop-down at the top of the page.

  3. Select My Account > Maintain Users. The View/Maintain Users page opens.

  4. Locate a user that has Administrator in the User Type column.

  5. Select the Edit link in the Action column for the selected Administrator user.

  6. On the Contact Details page, select the Contact is Partner Administrator checkbox in the my.MYOB Access section.

  7. Confirm that the following checkboxes are selected:

    1. the Contact has Access to my.MYOB

    2. the Contact is Partner Administrator

  8. Confirm that the Role of Contact is set to Administrator.

  9. Select Update. This user now has both administrator and partner administrator access rights to a particular MYOB client code.
