BankLink Books and BankLink Practice

This error appears due to the security settings on the computer that is preventing BankLink Practice or BankLink Books from accessing the internet.

MYOB is investigating this issue.

To resolve this error, complete the steps below for the applicable BankLink product.

 

To fix this issue in BankLink Practice
  1. In BankLink Practive, follow the menu path: System > Start New Period > Download from BankLink Secure. The BankLink Secure Download window appears.
  2. Click Yes to download. The download will commence.
  3. Once the download is complete, click Settings from the bottom left. The Configure Internet Settings window appears.
  4. Tick Use Advanced Internet Settings checkbox.
  5. Untick Use Microsoft Internet Settings checkbox.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Retry the download.
To fix this issue in BankLink Books
  1. In BankLink Books, follow the menu path: File > Preferences > Configure Internet Settings. The Configure Internet Settings window appears.
  2. Tick Use Advanced Internet Settings checkbox.
  3. Untick Use Microsoft Internet Settings checkbox.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Retry the download.
