Payday filing lets you file employment information to IR when you pay your employees. Many employers must payday file from April 2019.

Payday filing is currently voluntary, however you must payday file from April 2019 (unless you use MYOB PayAgent). See the Inland Revenue website to see if you need to payday file.

How is this different to what I do now?

Each time you process a pay, you’ll send your employment information directly from MYOB to Inland Revenue. No more downloading and uploading the Employer schedule (IR348), or submitting the Employer deductions (IR345) to Inland Revenue each month.

Payment dates have not changed

Some things haven’t changed.

  • You still need to make PAYE payments each month.
