Once you begin selling products and services through your website, it's a good idea to start monitoring your sales activity regularly to make sure things are going according to plan. Get insight into your sales activity by viewing the Sales report page, which includes information on your sales over time, website revenue, average cart value, bestselling items and top revenue earners.

Viewing the sales report page

To view the Sales report page, click the View sales report link in the Things to do toolbar.

In the Sales report page that appears, there are a number of different sections as described below.

Getting insight into your sales activity

There are a number of different sections in the Sales report page. Find out how to use them to get insight into your sales activity.

Sales summary

In the Sales summary section, you can view a graph of your sales over time. The default date range for the graph is the last 7 days, but you can choose to show sales from today, from the last 30 days, or from within a custom date range.

Website revenue and average cart value

In the Website revenue section, you can see your total revenue from website sales over the date range selected in the Sales summary section.

In the Average cart value section, you can see the average value of customers' shopping carts over the date range selected in the Sales summary section.

Bestsellers and top revenue earners

In the Bestsellers section, you can view a list of your five highest selling items over the date range selected in the Sales summary section. You can also see how many units of each item you've sold in that time period.

In the Top revenue earners section, you can view a list of your five highest revenue-earning items over the date range selected in the Sales summary section. You can also see the amount of revenue each item has earned in that time period.
