BankLink Notes Online and BankLink Practice

This page will detail how to update your client's email address used to log into BankLink Online from BankLink Practice.

Only a Linked BankLink Online user can update a client's email address.

To check if a user is a Linked BankLink Online user
  1. In BankLink Practice, go to the System menu and choose Users. A list of users displays.
  2. Locate the user and check if a tick is displayed in the BankLink Online column. If a tick is displayed the user is a Linked BankLink Online user.
To update a client's email address
  1. Open the Client File in BankLink Practice.
  2. Select Other Functions.
  3. Select Client Details.
  4. Select Options.
  5. Select Client Settings.
  6. Change the email address as required.
  7. Click OK to save and close.

The new login information for this user will be sent to the new email address the next time you export transactions to Notes Online.  Your client will then be able to login with a temporary password, and then follow the screen prompts to reset the password.
