It is important to back up your data regularly. Ace Payroll automatically creates regular backups of your data and saves them to your computer or an external hard drive.

Customers with support subscription can use our internet backup service. That way if anything happens to your computer - like theft, damage, or a virus - your backups will be safe.

Restore data using different back up methods.

Backing up and restoring on your device 

To back up your data to a memory stick or folder on your device

  1. Create a folder somewhere on your device, e.g. your Desktop.
  2. Click the name of your memory stick (or folder) in the list, then click Go.

To restore data from a memory stick or folder on your device

  1. On the left side of the window expand your memory stick or select the folder by clicking the name of your back up folder.
  2. Click GO to close the window.
