You're able to communicate with your clients about a task by writing extra comments within the task. If you want to give a client further instructions or information about a task you’ve already assigned, you can add comments to the task. A history of all the comments that have been posted by your you and your client(s) for a particular task are kept in the Activity section of the Tasks details page. UI Expand |

| You can access MYOB Portal in 2 ways: - directly from your browser using http://ae.myob.com (if you have MYOB AE) or http://ao.myob.com (if you have AO). Bookmark the page for easy access in the future. or - clicking Image Removed on the toolbar of your desktop version of MYOB AE or MYOB AO. | Go to the Tasks details page for the particular task. | Go to the Task details page. You can do this by :Clicking a task on clicking a task on the Tasks page .
or Clicking clicking the task status icon associated with a document on the Documents page. Scroll to the bottom of the Tasks Task details page. Enter your comment in the text box located at the bottom of the page.
You can enter up to 5000 5,000 characters for your comment. The text box contains a simple rich text editor enabling you to format the comment to your clients. For example, you're able to enter a new line of text, bold text and retain all the formatting.
If you have any additional information files that supports support your comment, select Choose Files drag them into the Files box to attach any filesthe required files, or click browse for files to find the files on your computer. Click Add comment.
An email will be sent to your client letting them know that you 've have added a comment to the task, including any attached files.
