Asset register in browser only You can import assets into the asset register from a CSV file. You might have created this file in Excel or exported from another system. Prepare to importBefore you import, check that the file format is correct by opening it in Excel (or your preferred spreadsheet software). Check that all the column headings match the CSV file format table. To help make importing easier, we've created a template that already contains all the column headings in the required format. | - Open the Asset register for your client.
- Choose Add asset in the top-right corner and then choose Import CSV.

Red | Assets that are missing key information. We won't import these assets unless you complete the missing information. Enter all the missing information to ensure accurate calculation of your assets before you click Confirm import. | Yellow | We have automatically updated the assets based on the following business rules: - Tax start date has been updated
- Tax depreciation method and/or rates have been updated
- Combination of the above
