Asset register in browser only

You can import assets into the asset register from a CSV file. You might have created this file in Excel or exported from another system.

Prepare to import

Before you import, check that the file format is correct by opening it in Excel (or your preferred spreadsheet software). Check that all the column headings match the CSV file format table.

To help make importing easier, we've created a template that already contains all the column headings in the required format. Download this template file and open it in Excel, then add your own data.

Importing a CSV file

You can only import one CSV file per import session. If you have more than one file to import, repeat the steps.
