  • Click the drop-down arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner and select Settings, then Practice settings.
    The My practice will pay for my client's product page displays.
  • Select the appropriate Payment profile from the drop-down.
  • Read and then accept the terms and conditions.

    Different tiers of the Partner Program (AU | NZ) give you access to different rewards in the form of commissions or discounts on your MYOB Business subscription purchases.

    You can change whether your reward is the wholesale discount or the commission at any time. You can also update your business and bank details used for receiving the commission.

    Commissions – The commission reward is only available if your client pays for the subscription, not if your practice pays.
    If your practice is paying for an existing client file subscription, but you want to change this so that your client pays for the subscription, log a support case via MYOB Practice, or contact us.

    You'll receive the commission at least monthly. It'll be credited to either your bank account or your MYOB account, depending on how your account was set up.

    Discounts  If you choose the wholesale discount and there's a market offer you'd prefer to use over your tier discount, you can purchase the market offer, and when that offer period ends, the subscription reverts to your tier pricing. The tier discount applies for the first 5 years of the subscription.
    Check the available market offers from MYOB Practice by going to Transaction processing
    and clicking Create file.

    You'll have a selection of MYOB products to choose from when you create new businesses or migrate an AccountRight classic file.

    The pricing on these product catalogue pages is based on your region and whether your practice is paying for the MYOB product or your client is. If your practice is paying for the product, wholesale prices apply.

    You're also able to trial a selected product for a month. You'll be guided to the MYOB product catalogue pages when you're using your Accounting dashboard.

    You can change how you'd like to receive your reward or whether you'd like to pass the reward on as a discount to your clients.

    Only a primary or billing contact can edit the payment preferences.

    1. Log into my.myob.
    2. Go to My Account > Edit Partner Payment Preferences.

    Depending on your selection, your reward will be credited to your bank account or your MYOB account (if you're on approved payment terms with MYOB). Your reward will be paid monthly, at least.

    For subscription products, the reward will be paid for the first 5 years of the client's subscription. If you've chosen to pass your reward on as a discount to a client, they'll receive the discount for the first 5 years of the subscription.

    You need to be the primary contact and the Administrator.

    1. On the left of MYOB Practice, click Practice (Image Added).
      In the Overview page, you can see your current reward preference.

    2. In the Your rewards section, click Change reward. You may need to scroll down to see this section.

    3. In the Your status rewards page, select either:
      • Discounted MYOB subscriptions and click Save, or
      • Commission for your practice (ABN required), complete the ABN, Account name, BSB and Account number fields and click Save.

      Next time you create an online file, you'll be able to choose if your practice or client will pay for the subscription. If you choose My Client – the cost of the software you refer to your client will show the relevant discount based on your Partner Program tier.

    1. In MYOB Practice, click Settings on the left of the page.
    2. Click Payment profile.
    3. In the My practice will pay for my client's product page, select the appropriate Payment profile from the drop-down.
    4. Read and accept the terms and conditions.
