This page relates to activity statements and forms the online compliance view. If you're preparing an FBT return, you'll need to create the return from the old view. Click Back to the old system to switch back to the old view.

There are a couple of ways you can prepare activity statements for your clients to meet their ATO obligations:

  • The preferred way is to Subscribe to ATO reports to create their ATO obligations. We'll check the Activity statement lodgement report (ASLRPT) daily and show any outstanding obligations for your client.
  • Manually create a new activity statement.

Whether you choose the automatic or manual option, you can pre-fill the activity statement with data from the ATO, including, where available:

  • form type
  • branch code
  • period
  • lodgment due date
  • any pre-determined ATO instalments.

Which fields you'll see in the activity statement depends on the type of activity statement the ATO is requesting. For more information, see Data in activity statements - AU
