Once you receive the latest company data file from your client, it can be uploaded so that the upgrade to an AccountRight Live can proceed.

The Upload company file option is only available if the status of the upgrade is Awaiting file.

You won't be able to use the AccountRight classic file while it is being upgraded.

How to

Click Desktop businesses on your Accounting dashboard.
Select the desktop business from the displayed list for which you wish to upload a file.
The file status should be Awaiting file.
Click and select Upload company file.
The Upload your company file page displays.
You can either:
1. click Find your company file to use Windows Explorer to search for your file
  or
2. drag and drop the file into this page.
The status of the file on your Desktop businesses page changes to In progress.
Once the upgrade has been completed, the entry is moved from your Desktop businesses page to your Online businesses page.
