Preparing to upgade
Make sure you've synced your AE/AO contacts into MYOB Practice and that you have your tax agent IRD number and client list number on hand.
To set up your practice for MYOB Practice Tax, you'll first need to add your tax agencies into your MYOB Practice settings. You'll only need to do this once per agent so that we can connect to Inland Revenue to file tax returns and download your client's Inland Revenue transactions.

There's a few things you'll need to do before you can upgrade to MYOB Practice Tax:
This will bring across agency details for all your agents and client tax settings. Once the upgrade is complete, you can start reconciling, preparing tax notices and tax returns straight away. You don't need to configure any agent settings or client settings.
Once you've finished upgrading, you might want to check all your client's details have come across to MYOB Practice Tax.
