If you're looking to upgrade from AccountRight v19 or earlier, have relatively simple accounting needs, and you have internet access, you might want to consider moving to MYOB Essentials.

MYOB Essentials is cheaper than an AccountRight subscription and, being a browser-only product, you don't need to download software or install updates – you can use it anywhere you have internet.

Who can upgrade to MYOB Essentials

There's a number of features that aren't yet available in MYOB Essentials. If you use any of these features in AccountRight or AccountEdge, you're not able to move to MYOB Essentials yet:

• tracking the on-hand quantities of your stock
• creating multi-currency transactions
• bill for time
• use category tracking.

If you need to do any of these, we recommend you upgrade to the latest AccountRight instead. The latest AccountRight also has the ability for you to access your company file in a browser.
