MYOB Portal can be used on any computer or mobile device with access to the internet. Use one of the latest 2 versions of the following supported browsers: - Firefox
- Google Chrome
- Internet Explorer
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari
to ensure that MYOB Portal displays and performs correctly. It would also be ideal if your browser has cookies and JavaScript enabled. See How to enable cookies and How to enable JavaScript if you need more info. If you're using a mobile device, you can use one of the latest 2 versions of any mobile operating system. | If you want to activate MYOB Portal at a later stage or only make it available to certain employees in your practice, see Restricting access for more info. This should be done before you do the next step. |
- Click Image Removed on the toolbar. A message displays letting you know that it may take some time to set up your online data.
- Click Yes. The Terms of Use display.
- Carefully read through the terms and conditions.
- Select the I agree with the above terms of use checkbox.
- Click OK.
Once your online data has been set up, you'll be directed to MYOB Portal. A Welcome to AO/AE Live screen displays. - Enter your practice name.
By default, this is your company name as entered in MYOB AE or MYOB AO on your desktop. You would have set this up in Maintenance > Internal > Companies > Company Name. The first name in the list on the Maintenance - Companies page is used. If you would like to use a different practice name, simply edit the existing text. - Click Finish.
You'll now have access to MYOB Portal. You'll be logged in as the same user you were logged into MYOB AE or MYOB AO - your desktop version.

Access after the first timeAfter the first time, you'll be able to access MYOB Portal, either: - directly from your browser using http://ae.myob.com (if you have MYOB AE) or http://ao.myob.com (if you have MYOB AO). Bookmark the page for easy access in the future.

Once you've logged in, you'll automatically have access to the same database that you were using on your desktop. You can also use another database, if you have multiple database. I'm a Partner Program member (without AE/AO)You can access MYOB Practice from any device at https://partner.myob.com. As the primary contact, you’ll also be the Administrator, which means you can give others access to MYOB Practice if you want. Other users you invite will need to log in to https://partner.myob.com with their own MYOB accounts.
