This information applies only if you're upgrading from AccountRight Classic (v19 or earlier).

Not upgrading, but want to move your forms from one company file to another? See Exporting and importing personalised forms instead.

If you have custom forms that you want to continue using after you upgrade, they need to be migrated into your upgraded company file.

Custom forms are now stored within the company file (rather than in a folder on your computer). This means you only need to migrate them into your file once, instead of upgrading them on each workstation where they're stored.

  5. Select only the custom forms you want to migrate and then click Migrate. The selected forms are migrated into your company file.

titleWhy didn't my form migrate succesfully?

A warning like this means a form didn't migrate successfully. This happens if trying to migrate customised pay slips or cheques (which can't be migrated):

If this occurs, open the form in the software version it was customised in and ensure all fields are on the page. Here's an example where some fields need to be moved:

After moving the fields, save the form then try to migrate it again.

Still having trouble? See Personalising forms for help re-creating the form.
