If an employee's pay goes up or down, it's easy to make this change in AccountRight. A pay rise might also mean the employee is owed back pay.

Changing a pay rate is done the same way for both hourly and salaried employees.

If the employee's working arrangements are also changing, see Changing an employee from full time, part time or casual.

OK, let's step you through it:

To change an employee's pay rate
  1. Go to the Card File command centre and click Cards List.
  2. Click the Employee tab.
  3. Click the blue zoom arrow to open the applicable employee's card.
  4. Click the Payroll Details tab.
  5. Click the Wages tab.
  6. Change the employee's Annual Salary or Hourly Rate.

  7. Click OK. The employee's new pay rate will now apply.
