When working with multiple currencies, you can set your default exchange rates in The Currency List <working title>. These are the default rates that'll be used in foreign currency transactions.

You can click the rate on the transaction to update the default exchange rate, or enter a custom rate just for this transaction.

 

To change a transaction's exchange rate

To change a transaction's exchange rate

  1.  Click the exchange rate in the transaction window. The Currency window appears.
  2. Change the exchange rate.
    • To change the currency's default exchange rate, click Edit and enter the new rate. This updates the rate in your currency list so it'll be used for this and all future transactions using this currency.
    • To change the exchange rate for this transaction only, select the Custom option and enter the rate.
  3. Click OK.
